A lot of people saw this at midnight last night, but with being a person unable to stay up into the wee hours of the morning, I get to see it today at 9:45.

This is Indiana Jones, people!

Due Out:

A brand new Gabriel Garcia Marquez book.

This is really exciting, Garcia Marquez really changed my writing style and all that sort of stuff, gave me a new view of how I could approach writing things or reading literature or whatever. Apparently, it's due out towards the end of the year.

I'm going to buy it, even if it's the disappointing like Memories of My Melancholy Whores or Of Love and Other Demons. Because at least his exuberant prose style can carry some aspect of the narratives.

Dumb Laws

This commerical has been running fairly frequently lately and, I dunno, I think it's kind of silly. I mean, aren't there far more dangerous things than seatbelt-less drivers? Ooh, 50 kids died last year for not wearing seatbelts, but how many died from drunk drivers or were tasered by loose cops, bro?



And it's also difficult to take a commercial seriously where a grandmother runs over a bush on a lawn mower. Bet she was wearing her seatbelt though.

And we're going to prepare ourselves for it, together, as a community (of three people), and it's going to be fucking awesome because it's Indiana Jones, people. Is it just me, or have fortune cookies got kinda lame? I mean, I love Panda Express and eat there all the time, but, goddammit, these cookies just aren't cool:
